BSc Economics and Management

Individually and socially, the human well being depends primarily on economic performance and effective management. These are core disciplines which affect everybody.  A person who understands them is always in demand in a wide range of human activities.

Economics is a major underlying principle of management. It provides an understanding of how processes of economic growth and change can be analysed and used to forecast and influence economic development and policy at different levels. In conjunction with management studies, a sound conception and analytical framework is established, within which rational management and decision-making can occur.

The combination of economics and management studies prepare students for careers in a wide variety of fields including business, the media, government services, finance and marketing. •
