BSc Sociology


Sociology is the scientific study of society.  It deals knowledge of human social activity. Sociology is at the core of all social sciences and LSE has a long and outstanding history in this area. BSc Sociology graduates will have top quality academic guidance in all its subjects and would be able to undertake postgraduate studies in any leading university.

Sociology graduates are required in a number of fields; Civil Service, Academia, Public administration, Development sector and   NGOs. Sociologists are required in all areas in where the understating of  social activity is crucial, such as social work, health services, social media, marketing and advertising.
