- Students have to satisfy the general entrance requirements for
Diplomas or Degree courses, ACCA, as stated below.
- They are in good health.
- They have paid or guaranteed payment of the prescribed fees.
- They have good moral character.
- Applicant accompanied by parents will have to appear in an
interview with the Principal or Registrar.
DIPLOMA IN ECONOMICS, SOCIAL
SCIENCES
Students must be normally at
least 18 years of age before 31st of December in the year they first register
with the University of London.
AND
Intermediate/Higher Secondary
School Certificate (FA./FSc) in Grades A, B, C or over 50% marks or an
Equivalent
OR
General entrance requirements
for degree students stated below
AND
Pass an entrance test and
interview according to the guidelines of the University of London.
DIPLOMA IN LAW
Students must be normally at
least 18 years of age before 1st of September in the year they first register
with the University of London.
AND
Intermediate/Higher Secondary
School Certificate (FA./FSc) in Grades A, B, C or over 60% marks or an
Equivalent
OR
General entrance requirements
for degree students stated below
AND
Pass an entrance test and
interview according to the guidelines of the University of London.
DEGREE COURSES
Passes in two subjects at GCE
'A' Level and not less than Grade C in at least three further subjects at GCSE
or GCE 'O' Level
OR
Passes in three subjects at
GCE 'A' Level and not less than Grade D
OR
BA, BCom. or BSc First or
Upper Second Division, or Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations
in at least two subjects at Grade
3, 4 or 5. The Special Admissions Panel of the University of London will
consider these qualifications on case to case basis and its decision would be
final.
AND
No less than Grade C in an
approved mathematical subject at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ Level or Equivalent (not required
for LLB).
AND
No less than Grade C in
English Language at GCSE/GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
OR
Proof of competence in English
Language as prescribed by the University of London International Programmes,
EMFSS and Laws Prospectus. (For LLB mathematics is not required)
AND
Proof of competence in
Mathematics, ‘O’ Level grade ‘C” or as
prescribed by the University of London International Programmes
DIPLOMAS FOR GRADUATES
Students must hold a full
first degree, completed in a minimum of three years on a full-time basis or
equivalent, from a university or other institution acceptable to the University
of London and demonstrated that they have reached a level of competence in
mathematics at least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE O level in a mathematical
subject at grade C or above and provide proof of competence in English which is
acceptable to the university.
FIA
Students must be at least 16
years of age AND matric/intermediate.
ACCA
Passes in two subjects at GCE
'A' Level and not less than Grade C in at least three further subjects at GCSE
or GCE 'O' Level including Mathematics and English. HSC can be considered
equivalent to ‘O’ Levels.
