Monroe College, founded in 1933. Monroe College is a national leader in higher education access, affordability, and attainment. Monroe earned accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in 2014 for its business and accounting programs on the Bronx and New Rochelle campuses.

In 2021, Monroe’s School of Business and Accounting earned “Academically Aligned” certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
