ACCA is the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants. This organization provides a framework of qualifications that can lead to Chartered Accountancy. After Part II of the examinations, students are eligible for obtaining a BSc (Hons.) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
Accountants are required in most businesses; personnel with knowledge and understanding of financial systems are an essential element of any organization. It is also important to have credentials of an international reputation so that the person can be employed the world over. The ACCA courses have all these requisites and it is a qualification that will make you a part of today’s global business environment.
TEACHING PROGRAMME
ACCA students enrolled with the College are required to study for courses that they have registered. Teaching runs from Monday through Saturday, and students are required to attend lectures, tutorials and/or seminars. Each subject is taught for a minimum of four hours per week.
EXAMINATIONS
Examinations are held in Islamabad. These are administered by the British Council and the scripts are marked in UK.
FACILITIES
The College has a well-stocked library with a wide range of essential textbooks and a well-equipped Computer laboratory for computer related subjects. Students have access to internet facilities.
STUDENT SOCIETY
The College has a Student Society, which arranges excursions and many interesting extra-curricular activities.
Passes in two subjects at GCE ‘A’ level and not less than Grade C in at least three further subjects at GCSE ‘O’ level, including mathematics and English. HSSC with mathematics can be considered equivalent to ‘O’ levels.
