Universal College Islamabad (UCI) has recently entered into an agreement with Monroe College, New York, USA to be its partner institute in Pakistan. UCI will be offering Monroe College study programs in Pakistan: the first session of BBA is being offered from September 2022.

Studying Business Management of Monroe College USA at UCI means learning from business leaders. The faculty are experts in their discipline, typically coming to Monroe with years of experience as working professionals in their field.

Monroe College (MC) BBA is a 4-year qualification (8 semesters) being offered at Universal College Islamabad (UCI) campus. It is a gateway to American higher education.

Study for two years in Pakistan and then transfer to Monroe College in the USA for your final two years.

BBA Eligibility

Intermediate (12-year of schooling) or equivalent with 60% marks. AS / A- Levels (minimum 4 subjects in AS and 2 subjects in A Level with A-D grades). Student should be 18 years old at the time of registration.
Proof of English Proficiency: TOEFL (70), IELTS (5.5), ESL Certificate, Duolingo (90), PTE (45) or WAEC (A or B).
Essay: Please write an original one-page essay stating why did you chose Monroe College? What are your goals and expectations of the program and what do you hope to gain from it? Minimum of 350 words

How to Apply for Admission

The applicant needs to submit UCI application form along with the copies of educational certificates (attested from notary public) i.e Mark Sheet, Degree, Proof of English Proficiency, copy of student & father / guardian / sponsor CNIC/Passport, 4 colored passport size pictures.
Application will be evaluated by UCI admission panel.
UCI admission office will schedule an interview with the student. The student needs to bring original educational certificates/documents at the time of interview
After successful interview, the student will deposit UCI application and admission fee. UCI will upload student’s application to Monroe College admission portal to obtain an offer letter.
After accepting the offer letter from Monroe College, the student will pay UCI and MC fees, one week before the start of semester

F-1 Student Visa Requirements for BBA Students

After completing successfully the first 4 semesters at Universal College Islamabad (UCI), students can apply for transfer to MC, New York, USA.
The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0.
Qualify for your I-20: Student have to show a bank statement to pay for 2 semesters of Monroe College (MC) fees and living expenses in America. MC has issued estimated expenses for 2022-2023. For further details please visit MC website ; Click Here

Monroe College (MC) is also offering a special grant of USD$2500 per semester to UCI students going to MC, USA.
Curricular Practical Training (CPT): Students having F-1 visa are eligible for CPT during their studies.
OTP (Optional Training Program): After completion of BBA, students are eligible for a 12-month OTP Program that is further extendable.

MODE OF EDUCATION AND DELIVERY OF PROGRAM

The classes will be held at UCI and the lecturers will be delivered by the faculty members of UCI and MC. The UCI faculty is highly educated and experienced, approved by MC and have been interacting with the subjects specialists. Some of the courses will be taught by MC Professors online.
UCI will implement MC Learning Management System (LMS) comprising Blackboard, Collaborators and Attendance System. UCI faculty will not only teach they will also check and mark the assignments, test and quizzes. It is a continuous assessment system and will run parallel to that of MC campus.
Monroe College will appoint one of the faculty members as Mentor for UCI students to help them out. Students will have access to their own Learning Management System (LMS), enabling them to see their academic progress on the portal and access to e-library, e-books, articles, journals and past papers.
